Sour Cream Rice with Chilies

Ingredients:

2 cups instant rice, uncooked

2 cups chicken broth

1/8 tsp garlic powder

1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

1/2 cup sour cream

1 14 oz can mild chilies, chopped and drained

Directions:

Mix rice, broth and garlic powder in your choice of Celebrating Home Direct Bean Pot. 

Cover and microwave on High 9 to 10 minutes, or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. (microwave times may vary)

Stir in 1/2 cup cheese, sour cream, and chilies.

Cover and microwave 2 to 3 minutes.

Sprinkle with remaining cheese.

Cover, let stand about 4 minutes until all cheese is melted.
